Success!

Both the Symphonic and Concert band did great at UIL. The Concert band recieved ones ( the highest score) from all of the judges in sightreading and all ones, except for one two, in the prepared pieces. This gave them an overall score of 1! The Symphonic band got ones from all the judges in both sightreading and the prepared pieces, for a sweepstakes! Everyone did really awesome, and Stephenville definately made a name for itself at the competition. All our hard work paid off! Plus,we can finally get new music and hopefully a little less crazed band directors.

Band Concert

Kendall, Racheal, Hannah, Holiday, Morgan, Chelsi, and Georgie played in the UIL prepatory band concert on Thursday night.Reportedly, we did very well, however, we all agree there is still some to be worked on. UIL is this coming Thursday! Wish us luck!

Birthday!!!!!!

It's Hannah's birthday!!! Yay!!! Happy birthday Hans!!! Every birthday we celebrate we will take pics of and show you the fun we have!!!

Party!!!

These are pictures from Holiday's birthday party last year. We rode on an "antique" train, which terrified Hannah and amused the rest of us, from Grapevine to the Fort Worth stockyards! At one point the train lurched to a stop due to technical difficulties while we were on a bridge. I don't think any of us had ever seen Hannah more mortified! However, it started up again shortly, much to our dismay, and Hannah's relief. All in all it was a really fun day!

Band and other Electives!!!

We are mostly all band nerds! Chawtana dropped out, but she used to play the clarinet. Hannah, Georgie, and Racheal play the clarinet! Kendall, Holiday, and Taylor play the flute! Chelsi plays the Trumpet! Morgan plays the oboe! Kenzie, Cassie, Lauren, Rachelle, Florencia, Carolina, and Emilee are in choir! Abby and Silvia are in Spanish! And Micah is in art!!! We have a lot of band trips and that's all we have pictures of right now, but we will have pictures of the other things soon!!!

We have been practicing a dance to "Disturbia" by Rihanna which we plan to perform in our school talent show, in honor of a good friend of ours who helped come up with the dance, but moved away :(! We love you Taylor!!!! Anyway, since the dance is Disturbia we did a dress rehearsal and tried to look well disturbed. You tell us if it worked!

The Creation Of The Blog!!!

As we were hanging out today we decided that we are too crazy not to share with the world. Therefore, we decided to make a website. However, that proved too difficult for us, so here we are blogging. But a website could be in the near future! Whatever we decide to do we will be sure to let you know, with blogs and videos! Keep checking in on us or you won't be able to keep up with us.
