Both the Symphonic and Concert band did great at UIL. The Concert band recieved ones ( the highest score) from all of the judges in sightreading and all ones, except for one two, in the prepared pieces. This gave them an overall score of 1! The Symphonic band got ones from all the judges in both sightreading and the prepared pieces, for a sweepstakes! Everyone did really awesome, and Stephenville definately made a name for itself at the competition. All our hard work paid off! Plus,we can finally get new music and hopefully a little less crazed band directors.
